Our team lead in Nairobi, Muthoni Wanyoike, recently organised a meet-up for Nairobi Women in Machine Learning & Data Science, a group for women interested in meeting likeminded people to socialise and discuss the topics in an informal setting. With the purpose of building a community around women in these fields, the organisation has “expanded my scope of things that I think are possible”, says Muthoni.
