Karim Beguir and Zohra Slim have been honoured as ambassadors of talent and innovation this week, highlighting the success of InstaDeep as a “message of hope” to young Tunisians. The award recognised InstaDeep’s exceptional company trajectory as an inspiration and example of international excellence. It follows the company’s recent acquisition by BioNTech and is testament to Karim and Zohra’s impact on the development of AI and deep tech innovation in Africa.
The tribute was presented by Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhane, in front of an audience of ministers, tech and university dignitaries and other invited entrepreneurs and startups at a special ceremony in the Kasbah government complex in Tunis.
Speaking at the ceremony, Karim was keen to emphasise his profound belief in Tunisian talent, stating that he was confident the country could become “the leading deep tech hub” of the region, and reaffirming his and Zohra’s joint commitment to supporting emerging Tunisian talents, startups and ecosystem initiatives.
In support of this aim, InstaDeep is actively hiring for many roles across its worldwide network of offices; with opportunities in Research, Engineering, BioAI, Digital and back office functions.
