LONDON, October 2019: The announcement follows a thorough selection process in August 2019 where a large number of start-ups pitched to Plug and Play‘s ventures team, who in conjunction with their corporate partners decided on the partner selection.
“When we find great start-ups, we want to make a positive impact in their journey by connecting them to our ecosystem of corporate partners and venture capitalists,” said Saeed Amidi, Founder & CEO of Plug and Play in the announcement. “Each batch brings new solutions to our community that can help our partners digitally transform their businesses. With our resources and global network, we aim to make this final cohort of the year one of our most successful.”
One of four AI partners
Out of hundreds of global start-ups who applied for the accelerator programs, seventeen companies made the cut for batch 8 of the Travel & Hospitality program, of which only four in the field of AI and data analytics. The program aims to introduce corporates in need of services to vetted partners capable of providing innovative solutions. Amongst InstaDeep’s broad selection of offerings, especially our longstanding experience in delivering cutting-edge products withing logistics and mobility, as well as our solution on container packing, creates a perfect fit with the travel and hospitality space. Additionally, one of our colleagues has previously worked in-house at multiple global airlines with hands-on experience of implementing AI and OR solutions.
We are delighted to embark on this journey and look forward to many fruitful meetings over the coming weeks.
